I’ve been very remiss in visiting any of you for some time. My apologies.
Basically I’m fuckin’ knackered.
A workmate – who was stupid enough to not join the union – is in deep shit. I can’t help him as a union rep or Deputy Convenor.
Actually I doubt I can help him personally either. He’s fucked.
The police are interviewing him regarding aircraft safety and his failure to follow required procedures.
He rang me and said he was considering ‘topping himself’. I rang the police and told a female DCI. They said they’d keep a careful eye on him.
His stupidity could potentially cost a lot of people their jobs.
He is a total dickhead.
He is also human and prone to human error as we all are. Unfortunately for him his ‘error’ was a doozy.
I made the mistake of caring a long time ago.
It’s making me very tired right now.
I’ll visit you all again one day when all this shit is over.
Meantime let’s be careful out there eh?

It sucks when you can’t help someone – for certain. But it does sound like this boy has made rather a lot of exceptionally poor decisions, perhaps another career path would be better for him?
Aren’t “fucking” and “being knackered” mutually exclusive?
There will always be those who will suck up all the help everyone around them can give and still fuck up their own lives. Do what you can for the fall out of the others this mess touches.
